who we are
The Migrant Workers Ministry exists because of the vision God placed in the heart of Pastor Carlos Carrion. It is currently supported through partnering churches and individuals who share Pastor Carlos’ passion for introducing the Gospel to Spanish-speaking farm workers in the Delta, Surrey and Langley areas.
Pastor Carlos, his wife Veronica and a team of volunteers are available to support these workers as they adjust to a new culture. Some need help finding doctors or need a ride to a medical appointment; volunteers may accompany workers on numerous errands, often acting as interpreters, they prepare meals for the workers and there is even a soccer league. Volunteers also provide ESL training in several locations.
Pastor Carlos considers every request for help an opportunity to build relationships and to minister to the men with the love of Christ.
